The test medium for the valve seal test is used for the test of valve pressure.

1. the test medium is liquid, the test pressure is at least 1.1 times the maximum allowable working pressure in the valve at 20 C (1.1*CWP); if the valve nameplate marked operating mechanism on the maximum working pressure or valve wear is not suitable for sealing test pressure, test pressure according to the maximum working pressure of the valve nameplate marked 1.1 times.

2., when the test medium is gas, the test pressure is 0.6MPa + 0.1MPa. When the nominal pressure of the valve is less than PN10, the test pressure is allowed 1.1 times of the maximum working pressure when the valve is 20 centigrade (1.1*CWP).
